About Us

Our Romantic Chalet is located at 1,040 m above sea level on a mountain farm and is easily accessible in both summer and winter via an asphalted road. 

The farm boasts fantastic views of the Carinthian Nockberge mountains and the beautiful Gurktal valley. Furthermore, the farm's location impresses with its many hours of sunshine. The drinking water comes from our own mountain spring.

Feel-good atmosphere in the cozy retreat

On the ground floor, the chalet offers a beautiful fully equipped kitchen-living room, a cozy dining corner, and a living room with a pull-out couch. In total, the Romantic Chalet features 3 spacious modern bedrooms with stone pine beds made in our hobby farm carpentry workshop, 2 bathrooms with 2 separate toilets, and a touch of luxury. 

Highlights of the chalet include:

  • a drying room with a boot dryer
  • a large sunny garden with a terrace
  • play and relaxation area under the lime tree
  • hiking map with marked hiking trails across lush mountain meadows in summer and for ski tourers in winter
  • 200 kilometers of slopes and modern cable cars in the Turrach, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Falkert, and Gerlitzen ski areas
  • snowshoe hiking directly from the farm
  • cross-country skiing trails are groomed in the immediate vicinity
  • bicycle rental possible

After a cross-country ski run, a ski tour, a toboggan ride, or a snowshoe hike, the infrared cabin with stone pine and mountain herb scents ensures pure relaxation.

When building the premium cabin, we attached great importance to using local wood from our own forest and specially designed stone pine and reclaimed wood furniture. We decided on a timber frame construction, which guarantees an excellent living climate. The craftsmanship of our farm workshop is visible in every room. You can smell and feel this when entering the chalet: it smells of stone pine resins and feels cozy and homey. 

Up close with cows and pony

Our cows, calves, kittens, and pony Sissi also spend their summer holidays and winter magic around the farm and on the alpine pasture. You will certainly encounter them during your hikes. The gentle sounds of the cowbells, the mooing of the cows, and the neighing of Welsh pony Sissi complete the holiday feeling.

Our  200-year-old traditional cottage  has been newly rebuilt and offers space for up to 6 people on 130 m² of living space.  Look forward to
