“Grias di!” – Welcome to the Rettenfeldalm!

Our mountain hut is located in Dienten am Hochkönig at 1545 m above sea level, captivating guests with its peaceful stand-alone location and authentic hut atmosphere.

The Rettenfeldalm is still heated by a wood-burning tile stove. With ca. 80 m² of living space, the hut accommodates up to 6 people, including one bedroom and a group room with mattresses on the floor.

Winter holidays at the Rettenfeldalm
In winter, the Rettenfeldalm is only accessible on touring skis or snowshoes. Taking roughly 1½ hours to reach, the walk is just the first of many highlights during your hut holiday together.
We, your hosts Katharina and Willi, will be happy to accompany you on your way to our hut.

The location of the Rettenfeldalm is an absolute paradise for ski tourers, with countless routes to choose from. Clamp on your skis and away you go, a simple motto that says it all.

Summer holiday at the Rettenfeldalm
Led by your hosts, you will make your way up to the hut, which is also reachable by car during the summer months. Numerous hiking paths in the surrounding area await you.

After a physically strenuous day, you will be able to unwind completely in the sauna hut and allow your mind to revisit the many wonderful moments you have experienced.
