The two newly built alpine chalets offer all guests plenty of peace, relaxation, and a wonderful view over the Murtal from an altitude of almost 1,000m. Idyllic landscapes, like the well-maintained meadows and deep forests, invite you to unwind in the fresh air and recharge your batteries. Hiking trails and mountain bike routes are right on your doorstep.
Reiter am Berg is a family business in the mountainous Murtal, more precisely in Fohnsdorf. The two newly built ALMCHALETS, named “Rubin” and “Smaragd”, offer all guests peace, relaxation and a wonderful view over the entire Murtal valley from an altitude of just under 1,000 meters above sea level in the immediate vicinity of the BIO farm. Idyllic landscapes, such as the well-tended, green meadows and deep forests, invite you to unwind in the fresh air and recharge your batteries.
The 130 m² ALMCHALET has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, an entrance hall, a gallery and a private sauna area and, of course, WiFi. Outside you can relax on your own terrace with green area and pool with a view.
The Reiter am Berg family also invites all visitors to get to know the organic farm and the work with the dairy cows - you can experience everything from milking the organic cows to feeding the smallest calves. You can take one of the short or long hiking routes in the immediate vicinity of the ALMCHALETS to clear your head. After an exciting day, you can also make yourself comfortable in front of the wood-burning stove with glass front or in one of the stone pine double beds. Each ALMCHALET also has a washing machine for longer stays or unexpected mishaps.
Once you have relaxed in the immediate natural surroundings of our farm, the Murau/Murtal region with its many other attractions is at your disposal: from the ALMCHALETS it is only a 15-minute drive to the Red Bull Ring or a 30-minute drive to the nearest ski area, with many other types of activities also just a few minutes away. There are also parking spaces for cars and an electric charging station.
In order to get enough energy for your stay, the Reiter am Berg family also offers breakfast for all guests - including the farm's own organic hay milk with top taste.
