About Us
Enjoy a wonderful holiday in one of our three chalets Raunighof, Duar and Krassnigalm! The three traditional farmhouses were stylishly renovated, They are situated on quiet, romantic flowering meadows in the south of Carinthia. The flair of bygone centuries goes hand in hand with modern comfort. You can feel the old times on the thick walls, the wooden roof and the larch gutters. In the cozy farmhouse parlor there is a ceiling made of mighty wooden beams and an oven. Tradition harmonizes with the modern: on the upper floor there are large rooms with bright windows and the furnishings are comfortable.
In the garden there ist a comfortable seating area with a barbecue-facility. Hiking trails start at the doorstep and a crystal clear mountain lake with free access is close by.
The more than 500 year old Raunighof offers space for families and groups of 4-12 people on a generous 300 m2 of living space. With the large, bright seminar room and technical equipment, the Raunighof is also ideal for seminars.
Duar is an old renovated farmhouse. There are two holiday apartments (the "Alte Tenne" for 2-4 people and the "Large apartment" for 4-8 people) that you can rent individually or together.
Krassnigalm (for 4-8 people) is a large, beautiful chalet, newly renovated in 2021, in a sunny dream location on a wide meadow viewing of the scenic mountain Hochobir.
Troadkasten (for 2 people) at the Krassnigalm is our “Tiny House”. The former granary was converted into a cozy house for couples in 2023/24 and has a wide view of meadows and mountains.

Our Chalets are open during the winter. In the event of snowfall, the access roads are cleared. Our houses are heated by our guests via tiled stoves and wood central heating.
You can us our romantic sauna smelling aromatic"Zirben" fir, which situated in a hut right beside a whitewhater river, where you can refresh..
There are interesting routes for winter hikes and ski tours in the surrounding mountains. With appropriate snow and cold conditions, you can toboggan or ice skate on the Carinthian lakes. Numerous Carinthian ski areas (Naßfeld, Dreiländereck, Turrach, Falkert, Petzen, Koralm etc.) can be reached on day trips. There are beautiful slopes for cross-country skiing in Bodental and, (if there is enough snow) in nearby Zell-Pfarre.

The Raunighof is situated on a beautiful flowering meadow, with a scenic panorama of the mountains and ancient trees. You can use its power for workshops, trainings and seminars. It is a place to experience nature with all your senses, to find peace, to find yourself and / or to work in a group.
The bright 75m2 seminar room is comfortably suitable for up to 30 people. We have seating and tables for 15 people, which can be quickly be removed for physical exercises. The parlor is suitable as a second room for group work and taking meals. The seminar equipment includes flipchart, overhead projector, beamer and satellite TV. Catering can be organized on request.
