The Ransburgalm is a cozy and rustic alpine hut in traditional wooden construction - lovingly preserved and fully equipped for a relaxing stay in nature.
Surrounded by lush alpine pastures, far away from any main road, you can enjoy peace, originality and a wonderful panoramic view of the Dachstein massif, the Bischofsmütze and the Hochkönig.

During the summer months, young cattle and pregnant cows spend their time on the lush pastures surrounding the Ransburgalm. The fresh mountain air, herb-rich meadows, and natural life in the open air are good for the animals – and are an important part of traditional alpine farming.
As a guest, you can watch the animals grazing, resting, and chewing their cud – up close, yet with the necessary respect for both animals and nature. For many visitors, especially children, this is a special experience and a glimpse into real life on the mountain pastures.
