Ramsauhütte

Our alpine hut is located amidst the Ladenbergalm in the northwest part of the Osterhorngruppe, approximately 28 km from the city of Salzburg. You'll find us in Hintersee, in the beautiful Fuschlsee region in Salzburger Land – easily accessible by car via a forest road.

🛖 Rustic Hut Life

The self-catering hut accommodates up to 9 people. Three cozy double rooms (two with a balcony) and a mattress dormitory for children ensure restful nights. Two comfortable common rooms invite you to gather. The kitchen is equipped with a wood and gas stove – cooking and heating are done traditionally.

A bathroom with a hot water shower, a toilet with flushing, and a cool cellar are also available. Romantic candles and a small photovoltaic system provide light at night.

🌱 Around the Hut

In front of the hut, a large, flat meadow awaits you – ideal for playing, relaxing, or grilling. Children's vehicles, sun loungers, a sunshade with a garden seating area, a charcoal grill, and a well make your stay comfortable. For the little ones, there is a cot and a small kitchen herb garden.

In summer, you can start directly from the hut. The Faistenau region and the Osterhorngruppe offer countless opportunities for activity and enjoying nature:

• Day tours to Gennerhorn or Regenspitz
• Alpine pasture tour via Hintersee and Lämmerbach

Just a few kilometers away lies Hintersee – crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming, boating, or simply soaking up the sun. With Fuschlsee & Wolfgangsee, there are 2 more popular lakes in the region – for swimming, boating, or strolling along the shore.

🎢 Strobl Summer Toboggan Run

Ideal for families – The summer toboggan run Gschwendt am Wolfgangsee in Strobl is only about 30–35 minutes by car from Faistenau and is open from May to October.

🎼 Mozart City Salzburg

Only about 30–35 minutes away, with numerous cultural highlights – DomQuartier, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Getreidegasse etc.
