The Raingrub Chalets are located in the village of Großarl in the Salzburg region – in the middle of the idyllic Großarl Valley, the famous “Valley of the Alps.” At around 1,050 meters above sea level, you can enjoy pure nature, tranquility, and fantastic views of the mountains.
The two chalets are located in a shared house. Each chalet is self-contained and offers plenty of privacy, its own garden, and a private playground – ideal for families with children. Whether sunbathing on the terrace, barbecuing in the garden, or playing outdoors, everyone has their own space to relax and unwind here.
Inside, you will find alpine style combined with high-quality furnishings: a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area with a wood-burning stove, a private sauna, two bedrooms, and modern bathrooms—all lovingly decorated with lots of wood and natural materials.
In summer, the Grossarl Valley is a paradise for hikers, families, and nature lovers. Over 40 mountain huts invite you to enjoy leisurely or athletic tours. Numerous family excursion destinations such as the Gaudi-Alm, the adventure playground at the end of the valley, or the swimming lake provide variety.
In winter, the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area is very close by. The ski bus takes you to the valley station in just a few minutes. Tobogganing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, or snowshoeing are possible directly from the chalet, depending on snow conditions.
The Raingrub Chalets in the Salzburg region offer you a relaxing vacation in the midst of nature in both summer and winter, with plenty of comfort, space for the whole family, and the special flair of the Grossarl Valley.
