Are you looking for a place where the world stands still for a few days? Welcome to the Karalm – in the Chiemgau Alps, at 1,250 meters above sea level, our lovingly preserved alpine hut is nestled between the peaks of Karkopf, Breitenstein, and the striking Rudersburg.

The hut is a retreat for all who value authenticity and tranquility. Two bedrooms, with a total of 5 sleeping places (one single bed and one bunk bed, and one 1.20m bed and one single bed). Enough space for couples, families, or friends.

The newly renovated kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove, wood-burning stove, kettle, and coffee machine, inviting you to cook together after a hike and end the day in a relaxed manner. The large terrace with panoramic views is a highlight – here, morning coffee tastes twice as good. There is also a new side terrace with a cozy bench and table – a perfect spot for reading, playing, or simply enjoying. All around extends a fenced garden, ideal for children, for sunbathing, or just to lie down in the grass and let your gaze wander over the mountains.

The hut is not directly accessible by car – parking is available in the valley – free of charge at our farm or for a fee at the foot of the mountain. From there, there are three ways to reach the alpine pasture – on foot (depending on your fitness, you should allow about 2 hours of walking time) or by bike through the impressive nature, or comfortably with the shuttle service, which we provide by arrangement. No traffic, no hustle – just you, the mountains, and the soothing sound of nature.
