We’re thrilled that you’ve chosen to spend your well-deserved vacation at our cabin!

Our romantic self-catering cabin is nestled in the heart of a forest with a magnificent view of the mountains of the Paltental Valley. In just under 40 square meters, you’ll find everything—and more—you need.

A well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and state-of-the-art appliances awaits you. The cozy living room, featuring a corner bench and a couch, opens up to the kitchen. The cabin is heated by a wood-burning stove. The bedroom is accessible via a staircase from the living area. From the double bed, you can enjoy the view of the deep green of the forest. In 2026, a new bathroom with a toilet, rain shower, and hot water boiler was installed. The covered wooden terrace invites you to linger in any weather.

We offer a breakfast service upon request. Of course, our farm’s own products are a must.

You park at the farm and load your luggage into the tractor taxi. This will be delivered to the cabin, located 120 meters away, on your arrival and departure days. Due to the steep path, access by car is not possible.

Our farm is located just a few minutes from the A9 highway, Trieben exit. This proximity allows you to quickly travel from one destination to the next.

The starting points for popular hiking and mountain tours in the Triebental, Hohentauern, and Kaiserau regions are just a few minutes’ drive away. You can hike directly from our lodge to the local mountain, which features rustic, fully-serviced alpine huts. Admont Abbey and the Gesäuse National Park, with its wide range of recreational activities, are just 20 minutes away.

In Trieben, 2 km away, there are several grocery stores, gas stations, a drugstore, family doctors, a pharmacy, tobacco shops, a specialty bike shop with repair service, a fitness center, a clothing store, an auto repair shop, an ice cream parlor, and several places to enjoy a good meal.

The Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is 45 minutes away, Schladming and Graz are 55 minutes away, and Hallstatt is 65 minutes away.

Swimming lakes, outdoor pools, indoor pools, and thermal spas, archery ranges, tennis, a golf course, mini-golf, a zoo, a castle, ruins, or a gorge—our region has something for everyone!
