About Us
The Pointleitnhof is our former hill farm and is located on the sunny side of St. Veit im Pongau at ca. 1200 m above sea level. Up here, you can escape the outside world for a while and leave all your cares down in the valley.
This farm is the last one on the mountain, after which you will only encounter forests, high pastures and alpine summits. This makes the Pointleitnhof an ideal base for numerous hikes and mountain tours. The closest mountain hut is only about 20 minutes away, while the nearby forest is an absolute insider tip for “mushroom hunters” and “berry pluckers”.
And with your basket overflowing, you will be able to return to a fully equipped kitchen to prepare and consume your mushrooms and berries together. The four bedrooms provide plenty of room for up to 10 people, and of course there is also a bathroom with shower and WC.
On the terrace, you have breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. And in the evening, you will be able to enjoy the sunset as you sip quietly on a glass of wine. Incidentally, our young calves also enjoy their summer months up at the Pointleitnhof.

You always wanted to find out how it feels to sleep surrounded by fragrant meadow hay? Everything is prepared for you in the garden of our holiday home! We have adapted a historic hay barn for your special sleeping experience and equipped it with a cosy bed and, above all, fragrant hay. Just try it out!
Since this farmhouse lies at around 1200 m above sea level, in winter it is only rented out by arrangement.

About Us
Located at 1200m above sea level, the Pointleitnhof has one of the most beautiful views of the surrounding mountains of the sun terrace Schwarzach-St.Veit-Goldegg. With us you can spend a relaxing vacation. Feel at home in our rustic 180 year old wooden house which is at your sole disposal. It is equipped with four bedrooms for a maximum of ten people. A fully equipped kitchen with electric stove and wood stove. A living room with the cozy warmth of the tiled stove for evenings together. A bathroom with shower and double sink and a multi-purpose room for skis, shoes, bicycles hiking gear, etc.. You can drive directly to the house, the road is asphalted. The parking place for your car is a little bit above. If there is a lot of snow or it snows a lot, you will need snow chains for the drive up. The nearest ski area is the Ski-Amade about fifteen minutes away by car. For our younger guests there is the St.Veiter ski lift with illuminated toboggan run for free use, which can be reached in five minutes. Furthermore, there are several thermal baths in the immediate vicinity to relax. Also the cross-country ski trail of the sun terrace is a hit. It is especially beautiful when you hike with snowshoes directly from the house in the pristine winter landscape!
You are also welcome to taste our homemade products and take them with home. Vitus has some beehives that produce the best mountain honey. You can pick up our fresh cow's milk on a trip to our farm and watch Christine milking and doing the barn work or try your luck yourself. In addition, we also distill with much conscience and years of experience rowan-, pear- and appleschnaps, which you are welcome to taste beforehand. Vitus also has chickens at Pointleitnhof if you ask you can certainly collect a few delicious eggs for your breakfast.

Animals
At Pointleitnhof live our 2 longhaired cats Molly and Tiger who are always happy about little snacks or petting. All summer long our calves are out on the meadows and enjoy the mountain air. Otherwise, there are also chickens and rabbits living on the farm which our little guests are welcome to take care of.
