About Us
The Pochergütl farm is located in a quiet and idyllic setting just outside Leogang in the beautiful Salzburg region, in the popular vacation destination of Saalfelden-Leogang. At an altitude of around 900 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the forest and next to a small stream, you will find the ideal place to relax and unwind – with a fantastic view of the Leogang Mountains. The town center is just a few minutes away by bus or bike path.
A genuine country life awaits you here: the vacation apartments are located in a newly built house (built in 2024/2025), which has been lovingly modernized and expanded step by step by our young family. The farm is actively managed and you can experience everyday life with animals up close – from feeding and milking to collecting eggs.
A playground is planned for next year – but children can already look forward to plenty of space in nature and direct contact with animals. In summer, our goats are on the alpine pasture, and you may spot one or two of them while hiking! Cats and chickens enjoy being petted all year round. In winter, the ski room with ski boot dryer is particularly practical – the Asitzbahn cable car is only about 5 minutes away by car.
The Saalfelden-Leogang region offers a wide range of activities in both summer and winter:
In summer, you can swim, cycle, hike, or try out the summer toboggan run. The outdoor pool and surrounding alpine pastures are also within easy reach.
In winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ski touring, and access to the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area await you nearby. The Asitzbahn cable car and cross-country trails are only a few kilometers away. The thermal baths and the Krallerhof day spa are also within easy reach – perfect for relaxing after an active day in the mountains.

Farm products and catering
You can enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens right here on the farm. Starting in autumn, we also offer venison bacon and pork products from our own livestock.
Animals
The farm currently has three oxen, four cows, and one calf. In summer, around 20 goats return from the alpine pastures, and around 15 chickens and five pigs look forward to your visit. Our two cats roam freely around the grounds.
