About Us
The special feature: This is how one envisions a vast, blooming alpine meadow, when dreaming of a vacation in the mountains! And in the middle of it, the cozy Straggonighütte - solar-heated and solar-lit. To feel at home, you'll find plenty of space not only inside the hut but also on the balcony and the large meadow in front of the hut.
Location: Beautiful alpine ground with a view of the Kreuzeckgruppe.
Access: 12 km from Kolbnitz, with 5 km of well-maintained gravel road.
Facilities: Newly renovated mountain cabin. Spacious kitchen-living area, large seating area, sofa, radio, cold running water. Bedroom (2 + one bunk bed). Accessible via a steep ladder additional four beds in a sleeping chamber. Shower, toilet. lighting, heating, and hot water powered by solar electricity (12 volts). Covered terrace with seating, barbecue. Fenced hut area. Upon request, additional 4 beds are also possible.
Rental period: May to October.
