Pure relaxation! Our farm is situated at almost 800 meters above sea level and opens up a magnificent view of the mountain scenery. Here, everyone will find their own place of peace and rejuvenation. We are a television-free farm. In addition, treatments can be booked in our "Timeout Room". Especially on vacation, you will find the time to restore awareness of your physical and mental balance.
Get up close and personal with the animals! Our trained and certified animals make every animal encounter a truly unique experience. 🏔️ Pfleger Ranch is located in Bischofshofen in SalzburgerLand, just above the ski jumping hill Paul-Außerleitner-Schanze, offering a magnificent panoramic view over the Salzach Valley – from the Tennengebirge mountains to the Salzburger Sportwelt Amadé. Thanks to this central location, it’s easy to reach a wide variety of excursion destinations and ski areas. With the included free guest mobility ticket, you can also explore the region comfortably by public transport without needing a car.
🏡 Since October 2024, we – Andrea & Bernhard – have been running this organic farm, creating a new life project with our llamas. At this special place, we are able to bring in our life and work experience while building a refuge for people, animals, and plants. The farmhouse and its surroundings have been lovingly revitalized. We care deeply about preserving the charm and authenticity of the property by maintaining old structures with great attention to detail.
🦙 🐑 Our farm is managed organically. Our animals (llamas & sheep) graze the meadows and are also part of walks and animal-assisted activities. The farm also offers schools the opportunity to bring their lessons into nature. It is very important to us that agriculture can be experienced with all senses – especially by our guests. Speaking of experiences: there’s no TV in the house. Instead, we offer “animal TV” – the joy of observing and caring for our animal residents.
💚 The farmhouse lounge is available to guests all day. Complimentary drinks are provided there. Spending time together is one of life’s greatest gifts. We hope our guests will find time here for games, chats, and creating shared memories for every family member.
🍽️ We celebrate breakfast! We love to start our guests’ day with a feast for both eyes and palate. Guests order their breakfast products using a small list, and we prepare them on tiered trays for the breakfast table – under the motto: “Zero Waste Food – pack it up and enjoy it later!”

Organic – it’s only natural with us!
We produce juices from the fruits of our farm, and lamb meat is also processed here on site.
Our breakfast is lovingly prepared with organic, seasonal, and regional products – from our own farm and neighboring farms.

Our animals also provide other valuable by-products. Their hides invite you to snuggle up all year round and make wonderful gifts for loved ones back home. Blankets, shoe insoles, and yoga mats are made from the fleece of our llamas and from animals on our daughter’s farm – all available to purchase directly from us.
Fertilizer from llamas and sheep
It is very important to us to look at our animals and their products holistically and to make the most of everything they give us. That’s why we also have an official permit to sell our lama manure – which we offer to enthusiastic garden lovers. A fertilizer that works wonders and can even be used for the most delicate plants – such as orchids.
Animals from our herd and breeding
From our livestock and breeding program, llamas or sheep are also available for sale to interested buyers. Our animals are well-socialized and habituated, making them wonderfully suited for encounters between humans and animals.
Simply “lama-tastic” & more!
Our love for New World camels began many, many years ago. We had to wait almost 15 years before the first animals finally moved in with us. Today, 7 male llamas live on our farm. They are used for walks and animal-assisted activities – and they are the perfect grazers for our slopes. Their cleverness, their shyness, and their big beautiful ears and eyes make them such unique creatures in every encounter. Walking together, animal and human tune into one another and become a brilliant team.
Our “grass mowers”
With the farm, we also took over an existing flock of sheep – bringing the full cuddle factor with them. Our sheep “Lilly” is famous well beyond the village borders. She absolutely loves being petted and cuddled.
Cats, mice & more
Of course, our farm is also home to cats – five in total. One tomcat and four cats are our hardworking team members, making sure no pests spoil or eat our good hay.
Green Care generally stands for activities and interactions between humans, animals and nature.
1 - 4 People
In the “Talblick” apartment, your gaze wanders across the entire Salzach Valley.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the farmhouse. In the bedroom, part of the bunk bed can be set up as an additional bed; the second part of the bunk bed can also be used in the living room. A travel cot with full equipment or a bed rail is available if needed. The bedroom is equipped with blackout curtains for a restful night’s sleep.
On the balcony, you’ll find chairs and a small table. The small attic kitchen is well suited for cooking, though there is no dishwasher.
The bathroom – also in the attic area – includes a combined bathtub/shower, a washbasin, and a toilet.
A special sleep experience with llama fleece blankets:
On request, we can provide our own llama/alpaca fleece duvets for a truly restful sleep. A small pillow menu is also available for our guests upon request.
“Talblick” can be perfectly combined with the “Waldblick” apartment, as both are located on the same floor – an ideal solution for a relaxed holiday with several generations or friends traveling together.

In the “Waldblick” apartment, you have a view of the forest above the house and the llama enclosure.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the farmhouse. In the living room, the bunk bed can be conveniently used as an extra bed. The option to separate the bunk bed into a 160 x 200 cm bed is very practical and ideal for children. A travel cot with full equipment or a bed rail is available if needed. Both the bedroom and the living room are equipped with blackout curtains for restful sleep.
On the balcony, you’ll find chairs and a small table. The small kitchenette in the attic is suitable for cooking or preparing light meals, though there is no dishwasher.
The bathroom – also in the attic area – includes a combined bathtub/shower, a washbasin, and a toilet.
