Welcome to Ferienhof Pemberger, your retreat in the untouched nature of Carinthia! A place where the beauty of nature meets rural tradition. Since 1998, we have been enchanting our guests with a unique holiday experience, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the tranquility of the mountains.

We place great importance on family-friendliness. Experience the authentic everyday life of a farm: from daily stable work to hay harvesting in summer and fruit picking in autumn. And for anyone who wants to lend a hand, there's always the opportunity.

The gentle hills and vast alpine pastures are ideal for leisurely hikes, while the majestic Karawanken mountains are always in view – a sight you can also enjoy from our balcony. Numerous lakes invite you for a refreshing swim after exciting days.

Farm products and catering

Enjoy our fresh hay milk! On request, you can prefer the high-quality hay milk directly from our farm or even milk it yourself under expert guidance – an unforgettable experience for the whole family!

In our 100 m² farm garden, a wealth of fresh herbs and vegetables awaits you, which you can use directly in your kitchen. Stroll through the farm and sample the delicious berries from our bushes!

A special highlight is our Italian viticulture project, whose success we hope to celebrate with you soon.

Additionally, we invite you to explore our traditional orchard, which, depending on the season, offers various apple and pear varieties, juicy plums, a walnut tree, and delicious cherries.

Come and enjoy the delicious products directly from the farm!

Animals

Have you ever wanted to milk a real cow yourself? Then you’ve found the right place! We’re happy to show you how it’s done. You’re also welcome to join us with other farming tasks in the barn. After all, our dairy cows and their offspring have to be taken care of every day.

Our chicken provide us with eggs for breakfast every day. They are very reliable. Our many cats are happy about every cuddle they can get.

“Maja”, our pony, is looking forward to a snack or two.

Since 2015, we breed Jezersko–Solčava (German: Kärntner Brillenschaf), a native sheep breed. We are the first ones to do so in the municipality of Frauenstein. We deeply care about the preservation of this threatened native species. Recommendation: Every summer, you can look forward to cute lambs.

In charge of safety on our farm: Our good-natured and faithful dachshund “Titus vom Lindnergrund”.

In the magical night from Maundy Thursday to Good Friday, a journey begins that goes far beyond an ordinary hike: the traditional Kärntner Vierbergelauf (Carinthian Four-Mountain Pilgrimage). This profound experience leads you on a 52-kilometer, pilgrim-like march across Carinthia's four sacred mountains: from the majestic Magdalensberg, over the historic Ulrichsberg and the scenic Veitsberg, to the mystical Lorenziberg, which is just a few steps from our idyllic farm – the perfect starting point for your adventure. Experience the unique interplay of the deep silence of the night and the awakening community, the challenge in the dark and the clarity of dawn, overcoming physical limits, and the subsequent inner serenity. It is a transformation you will feel. Back in the cozy atmosphere of our farm, you can completely let go.
