If you would like to experience alpine farming, you are more than welcome to help out on our alpine pasture. From late May to early October, we are up on the alpine pasture with our dairy cows, accompanied by our young cattle, calves, Boer goats, guinea pigs...
About Us
The Peitlerhütte is the perfect holiday home: drive right up to the cabin door by car and start numerous hikes into our peaceful alpine area directly from the cabin. Beautiful fenced cabin yard with a panoramic swing, campfire site, and plenty of seating, lots of nature and flowers everywhere, ... Inside the cabin there are 3 double rooms with a beautiful view of nature, a new bathroom with underfloor heating, walk-in rain shower, washbasin, and WC. Anteroom with a refrigerator and sink, kitchen with a wood stove, electric hob and gas oven, cozy living room with a couch, satellite TV, and a tiled stove. Thanks to our hydroelectric power station and photovoltaics, we are energy self-sufficient! Of course, there is plenty of "wood at the cabin". Many hiking trails lead directly from the cabin into our untouched alpine world, with everything from easy strolls to summit bliss! For early birds and mountain enthusiasts, the sunrise on the "Stern" is highly recommended. For the perfect refreshment after a strenuous hike, take a dip in Lake Luckasee. Alpine lovers can stroll through our wonderful alpine landscape and enjoy sunbathing in our flower-rich alpine meadows, and at night, admire the beautiful starry sky :)

Animals
Not far from the Peitlerhütte lies the Wansingalm.
From May to October, Hans and Walli live on the Wansingalm with their 30 dairy cows, which are milked
daily. They are accompanied by the young cattle, calves, guinea pigs, and 6 Boer goats.
There you can enjoy fresh milk daily as well as many other tasty alpine products.

Welcome to our charming Peitlerhütte. Ideal for families, groups, or just for two. The cabin features 3 nicely furnished bedrooms, including fresh bed linen, which promises sleeping comfort for up to 6 people. Enjoy the breathtaking alpine landscape and mountain world from here. The fully equipped kitchen with a wood stove, gas oven, electric hob, refrigerator, coffee machine, and kettle invites you to cook together, while the private cabin garden invites you to relax outdoors. Other amenities include a cozy living room with a couch, tiled stove, satellite TV, and radio. A modern bathroom with a toilet, shower, and hairdryer. A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request, perfect for our youngest guests. Access by car to the cabin is possible. The Peitlerhütte offers everything for an unforgettable alpine holiday.

Via the A10 Tauern motorway - exit Rennweg am Katschberg.
Drive into the village of Rennweg, then to St. Peter.
