You will stay in a self-contained holiday home on the farm featuring an open-plan living concept and large windows that bring the impressive mountain landscape right inside. The spacious design ensures plenty of light and a unique feel-good atmosphere. For children, there is a sleeping gallery in the gable – a cozy retreat with mattresses for little climbers and active kids, overlooking the living area. A holiday home that combines comfort, freedom, and an authentic farm experience.
About Us
We are Sabine & Peter and we live on a farm with the farm name “beim Oswald” in Micheldorf. We invite you to a getaway of a special kind … farm holidays, family holidays, active holidays or romantic holidays … no matter how you want to spend your vacation.
Enjoy the country life feeling in our newly built holiday apartment, which is actually a small holiday home. Because it is completely for you alone. Our farm is just across the street. Close enough to chat with us when you need us. But still far enough away so that you have your peace and quiet.
Active cultivation of our grassland with Cameroon sheep
Our grassland is managed sustainably and close to nature by our Cameroon sheep. Originally from Africa, these small, robust sheep are particularly easy to care for, resilient, and friendly. With their calm nature, they are very popular with both young and old.
Our Cameroon sheep keep the meadows short in a natural way, thereby contributing to the preservation of the diverse plant life around our farm. Our guests are welcome to visit and observe the animals in the pasture and experience farm life first-hand.
In winter, too, our sheep are lovingly cared for and provided with hay and feed daily, so that they lack nothing in the cold season.
Orchard meadow to enjoy
Our orchard with around 20 different fruit varieties invites you to discover and linger. All fruit trees are labeled, so you can easily get to know the different varieties. You can enjoy the peace and the view on the cozy bench in the middle of the greenery.
In autumn, our guests are welcome to pick fresh fruit directly from the trees and experience the natural taste of our meadow.
Torrent & fish pond
An idyllic torrent flows right next to our farm, creating a special atmosphere. Our fish pond with trout is also located there. Our guests are welcome to try their luck at fishing themselves and then enjoy the freshly caught fish on the grill – a special experience for young and old.
Farm history & farm tour
Our farm looks back on a history of over 300 years. In the old parlor, a wooden beam with the inscription “1721” recalls the long tradition and the many generations who have lived and worked here.
During our farm tour, we will be happy to tell you about the eventful history of our farm and give you insights into farm life past and present.

Upon pre-order, we offer a special breakfast prepared with lots of love, featuring ham from the organic farm Zauner, milk and eggs from our neighbor, sheep's cheese from Rainer, homemade jams as well as homemade spreads. Bread and pastries are sourced from the bakery Schwarz in Micheldorf. For alternatives, please discuss directly with Sabine.
