About Us
Location: High alpine pasture above the tree line, on a sunny plateau with very far-reaching views of the mountains and into the valley.
Arriving: 11 km from Rennweg, of which 4 km asphalt and 7 km agricultural road.
Features: Entirely newly built cabin. Kitchen/living room with large seating area, wood-burning stove, sink, well equipped kitchen. Stairs leading to 2 bedrooms (3 + 2 + cot). Shower/WC, wood-burning boiler, solar light. Covered balcony, terrace, barbecue cabin, well. Bring bed linen.
Rental periods: May to November.
Special features: Here at the Oberen Michlbauerhütte you don't really need a balcony or terrace, as the new cabin is set on a historic, secluded cabin site, which is itself a great viewing platform across to the Hohen Tauern. Inside it becomes really cosy when everyone sits around the large cabin table.
