Our cozy and lovingly furnished holiday apartments are a true paradise for families with children. Located away from the road, our farm offers plenty of space for diverse recreational activities and safe play. Children's hearts will beat faster with pony riding and experiencing farm work live. Cows, pigs, sheep, and rabbits are waiting to be fed and petted. As experienced hosts, we know exactly what makes a farm holiday with the whole family unforgettable.
Whether you want to climb high peaks or enjoy a relaxed alpine hike with children – Schoppernau, as a certified hiking village, is your ideal starting point. Explore the flat valley basin, surrounded by majestic mountains, on a stroll or discover the region on a bike or mountain bike tour. Immerse yourself in our winter wonderland!
The NigschHof in Schoppernau offers you the perfect starting point for unforgettable winter experiences. Only 600 meters separate you from the valley station and the ski school of the family-friendly Diedamskopf ski area – ideal for skiers of all skill levels.
The ski bus stop is only 150 meters from your accommodation and conveniently takes you to the region's largest ski areas. Discover the legendary Warth-Lech-Zürs-St. Anton ski area, considered Austria's largest interconnected ski area and easily accessible by bus. Or you can reach the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald, Mellau-Damüls, in just 10 minutes.
Directly in front of our doorstep, the 30 km long cross-country ski trail stretches out, inviting you to sporting challenges or leisurely rounds. Numerous prepared winter hiking trails for relaxing walks through the snow-covered landscape also start directly at the house. Schoppernau is also a certified hiking village, known for its well-signposted paths and excellent infrastructure.
We at NigschHof love children and are happy to take time for our little guests! Whether feeding the animals in the stable, petting our pony, or participating in other exciting farm activities – bright children's eyes are guaranteed with us!

In our farm shop, we offer fresh products from our own production, including fresh eggs, cheese, cured meats, homemade jams, and other regional specialties. This way, our guests can take a piece of NigschHof home with them.
Should you need anything for your self-catering on the farm, the easily accessible village shop offers a full range of groceries and daily necessities.
Have you ever seen farm animals up close? Stroked? Pigs fed or ridden on a pony? At our farm you can do all this. We are looking forward to you!

Your arrival is particularly easy and eco-friendly thanks to the excellent public transport connections. The nearest bus stop is just approx. 50 m away, and a nearby bicycle rental invites you to explore the picturesque region flexibly on two wheels.

Take the A14 motorway and exit at Dornbirn Nord. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Bregenzerwald (L200). The L200 leads you through the Achrain tunnel into the Bregenzerwald. You will drive through the municipalities of Alberschwende, Egg, and Andelsbuch. Continue past Reuthe, Bezau, and Mellau to Schoppernau. In Schoppernau, turn right towards Ferienbauernhof Nigsch 50 meters after the Hotel Krone (on the left). A small sign (Ferienbauernhof Nigsch) directly on the road (L200) will show you the way.
