Please note: Due to our elevated and car-free winter location, the Neuhornbachhaus regretfully cannot accommodate children under 14 years of age during the winter season. We appreciate your understanding.
**SKIING**: For keen skiers, the Neuhornbachhaus is uniquely accessible directly via a dedicated ski route from Diedamskopf. This route, best suited for experienced skiers and subject to snow conditions, culminates in a slight ascent to our doorstep. Guests are advised to check current lift operating times and avalanche warning levels for a safe and enjoyable descent.
**SKI TOURS**: Ski touring enthusiasts will be captivated by the pristine, expansive winter wonderland surrounding us, offering countless rewarding routes to explore. Discover untouched powder and panoramic vistas that stretch as far as the eye can see.
**SNOWBOARDING & SNOWSHOE HIKING**: Beyond skiing, our high-altitude haven is a dream destination for snowboarders, snowshoe hikers, and winter wanderers. Glide through pristine snow or trek across silent, snow-covered trails, immersing yourself in the peaceful winter landscape.
**WINTER LANDSCAPE & TOBOGGANING**: Embark on a picturesque winter hike along the wonderfully groomed trail that follows our natural toboggan run. This scenic 2-hour ascent, covering 800 meters in altitude, leads directly to the Neuhornbachhaus, offering a unique journey through the winter wonderland. Alternatively, embrace the thrill of our 5 km natural toboggan run, starting right at our doorstep at 1,700m, providing an exhilarating way to experience the alpine scenery.
