About Us
The Neudegg Heimalm lies at 1400 m above sea level in Gasteinertal and accommodates up to 5 people. The hut stands completely alone roughly 8 km from the town center ofBad Hofgastein. Enjoy the tranquility and the magical views of the mountain world around you.
Surrounded by lush alpine meadows, the Neudegg Heimalm is an ideal base for attractive hikes. The mid-station for the Schlossalm lift is about a 30-minute walk away (also possible with a baby buggy). Several nearby mountain huts serving food & drinks to visitors are also within easy reach.

On the ground floor, you will find a comfortable parlor with wood-burning stove, a gas range and a large sitting area, along with a spacious utility room, a cellar for food storage and a newly built shower room. There is also a WC that is accessible from outside the hut. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds and a newly renovated washroom with WC. In front of the hut is a beautiful garden with seating and grill equipment.
The warm water is heated by means of a wood-burning oven and gas. Solar-generated power is only used for lighting.
Before driving up to the hut, we will meet you at the Neudegghof located at Wieden 11 in Bad Hofgastein. The hut can be reached using your own car via a very well-maintained gravel lane, paved in parts. Use of this lane is at your own risk. The hut host and landowners responsible for maintaining the lane are not responsible for any potential damages!
