With us, the simple things are what count: genuine hospitality, a farm with an open gate for young and old – and, if you wish, a night in the hayloft, right next to goats, sheep, and rabbits. For children, there is a dedicated children's stable with goats, pygmy sheep, rabbits, and quails, plus a large adventure playground and an indoor play area in summer.
With us, you can enjoy our own farm products: oven-fresh bread, speck, traditional doughnuts (Krapfen), seasonal jams and juices, as well as fine schnapps and liqueurs. We also offer fresh, homemade pastries – perfect for an afternoon snack. Breakfast is included in the double room: muesli, jams, spreads, cakes, and seasonal fruit & vegetables from our farm, while milk, cheese, and yogurt are sourced from neighboring farmers.
Feel the untouched nature in real intensive way - run barefoot on soft green meadows, breathe the unbelievable clear mountain air, enjoy the view of alpine herbs and flowers, plug your own apple from the tree in our yard. Don't worry about the children - they have a lot of possibilities for fun and entertainment.
Our farm yard is situated in a part of Dorfgastein - called Maierhofen - approx. 10 minutes to go to the center of Dorfgastein. It is very quiet and you have a wonderful view at the amazing mountains of Gastein valley.
If you like animals - you have a lot to do a the Moarhof - stroking, feeting, riding, ....
We have a heart for our animals: pony "Betty", goat "Lisi", sheeps, rabbits and our pig "Max".
All our apartments are comfortable and unique furnished. Our rooms are large, bright and spacious and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. As a special service, your internet connection is free. We also offer homemade products for you.
Discover what you can do in the Gastein Valley: Hike through the countryside, relax in the Gastein thermal baths, in winter you can find nearly almost all winter activities which exist and after exiting days you will sleep deep and well on our farm.

What ski resort should I go to today? This is probably the most difficult question during your winter vacation in Gastein! Because there are 4 to choose from! Beginners, pros, skiers, boarders and carvers can all feel at home on a total of 200 kilometers of slopes. Our organic farm is located in the beautiful Gastein valley, Maierhofen district, 10 minutes from Dorfgastein, the solar bath and the Schischaukel (ski resort connection) Dorfgasten-Grossarl. This is an organic farm with suckler cow rearing. That means: The little calves get their mother's good milk from birth onwards. The animals spend the summer in the luscious meadow on our alpine pasture.
Kids feel at home here in summer: Ponies to ride, hares, goats, cats to stroke, and quail which spoil us daily with their fresh and particularly healthy quail's eggs.
