Welcome to the Mitterschützinghof.
Our farm is located in a small neighbourhood about 4 km away from Saalfelden, very quiet and with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Our proximity to Lake Zell and the ski areas in the surrounding area is ideal for all active holidaymakers.
Our family-run farm attaches great importance to cordial co-operation between the different generations. We have cattle on our farm that graze on the alpine pasture in summer, but our chickens, rabbits, cats and pigs are on the farm all year round. You are welcome to feed the chickens, rabbits and pigs with us or stroke the rabbits and cats.
Our holiday flat is located in the outbuilding on the upper floor and was newly renovated in 2023. Up to 6 people can stay here and enjoy their privacy. There is a terrace with seating for guests in the garden. Our children are happy to share the playground with you. The swings, slide, sandpit and trampoline are highly recommended by our children.
In summer, you can reach the lido on Lake Zell in 10 minutes by car. Of course, you can also explore the countless hiking trails in the surrounding area. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, take the cable car up the mountain and then hike from alpine pasture to alpine pasture. Or you can take a bike and explore the area on the countless cycle paths. You can also take a leisurely ride along the valley or choose one of the various mountain bike trails for a little more action.
In winter you are spoilt for choice. The Hochkönig, Saalbach Hinterglemm, Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn ski areas can be reached by car in a maximum of 20 minutes. Of course, you can also use the cross-country ski trails or, if it's cold enough, go ice skating on Lake Zell. If the weather doesn't play ball, we recommend relaxing at the Tauern Spa in Kaprun.

Those who love skiing can get active in the “Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn”, network of ski resorts.
