Miriquidi Alpacas

We’ve been breeding alpacas with love and passion for 17 years. The peaceful inhabitants of the Andes have stolen our hearts. Not only are they intelligent, relaxed and unmistakably beautiful. They also provide us with some of the finest natural fibres that are similar to cashmere or silk. It’s absolutely natural for us to manufacture the wool of our animals and to make high-quality products either ourselves or in cooperation with partners. Set out to discover the world of alpaca wool. The exclusive blankets, cushions and accessories will pamper you. Find almost every feature in our chalet and get to know our products during your stay. Keen knitters can get alpaca wool in natural colours and with its natural luster. You will be amazed how warm, cosy and incredibly soft your new handmade knits are. All-time favourites! One of my favourite products, however, is the natural keratin soap made from alpaca fibres. The natural soap is made from the fur of our crias (alpaca babies). The mild lather leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished. The shower in the chalet comes with a piece of soap for you to try.

Our chicken were the first to move in. 3 Lakenfelder hens and 1 rooster provide us with fresh eggs. You’re welcome to observe our chicken and collect an egg for breakfast yourself.

As a next step, some of our alpacas will move here from the Ore Mountains. These peaceful and intelligent animals will steal our guests’ hearts. There’s hardly a way to come closer to alpacas than during a holiday in our chalet.
