Welcome to the MENTEBAUER child-friendly farm!
Nestling among the wonderful landscape of Oberkärnten is our traditional ***Mentebauer family farm set at an altitude of 850 m above Gmünd. The sunny plateau offers lovely views of the beautiful Liesertal and Maltatal over the course of a leisurely walk.
A holiday on the farm is a very special experience, particularly for children. There is so much to learn and explore – cows, pigs, rabbits, goats, chickens as well as ducks on the pond.
Not to mention the horses and ponies! Your children will certainly never get bored here - at the playground or in the pool, in the crèche or the playroom – let the farm adventure commence!

About Us
Nestling among the wonderful landscape of Oberkärntens is our traditional ***family farm Mentebauer, set at an altitude of 850 m above Gmünd. This sunny plateau offers lovely views of the beautiful Liesertal and Maltatal over the course of a leisurely winter walk.
Toboganning fun at the Sonnenalm Stubeck local mountain for the whole family. The lift brings you to 2,000 m, then it's sledging all the way down. Round off your exciting winter's day by stopping in at the Frido Kordon cabin for a "Jagatee" (tea with schnapps).
Cross-country skiing, touring, ice-skating, snowshoeing, horse-drawn carriage rides and much more.
Fun on the slopes for the whole family! There are three big ski areas for both beginners and professionals located just 20 minutes away:

Arrival
How to get here:
Follow the Tauernautobahn (A10) and take the Gmünd exit (right),
take the 2nd exit right towards Gmünd at the 1st roundabout.
At the 2nd roundabout, take the 1st exit right towards Liesertal.
Turn left after about 500 m at the 1st crossing, heading towards the centre of Gmünd.
Turn right towards Kreuschlach just before the town gate.(Sign: Mentebauer child-friendly guesthouse).
Then it's just another 2 km or so to the Mentebauer gourmet farm.
