About Us
A warm welcome to theMathebauer farm in the Lavant Valley - Kärnten's paradise.

A relaxing holiday is waiting for you at an altitude of 1050 m in the east of Kärnten, north of the Koralpe. Our farm is situated in a quiet locationsurrounded by meadows and forests.
Of course we always look forward to children on the farm. We have a large playground, and of coursepets such as cats and rabbits, but also cows and calves, pigs, sheep, chickens and of course our little dog, Fanny.
So that the "creature comforts" are not lacking anything on holiday, we offer our guests arich breakfast buffetand in the evenings a menu with many regional specialities and delicacies.
Well then, off you go: Enquire, book, pack your suitcases and off to the Lavant Valley to the Mathebauer farm!!

Farm products and catering
On our farm are cows, calves, sheep, cats, rabbits, chickens, pigs and our little dog, Fanny.
In summer during the day, the cows are on the pastures around the farm, as are the sheep.
Farm products:
We have our own farm products such as milk, cream cheese, butter, various jams, salami, dried or smoked hams, bacon and of course eggs from the chicken coop.
Our guests fetch the eggs for breakfast themselves from the chicken coop, following the motto "fresh on the table". In addition there is also homemade butter and freshly baked bread - the perfect start to the day.
Our kitchen:
We are a family-oriented Kärnten guesthouse. We love to spoil our guests with our half board. A healthy breakfast for the perfect start to the day, and in the evening a menu with regional specialities.
In between, we offer a snack, and coffee and cake in the afternoon is a must!!
In our guest room the tiled stove will warm you on cold days while you drink a glass of wine with delicacies such as Kärnten noodles, trout from our own stream, apple strudel and much more. In summer our guests can enjoy the mild summer evenings on the terrace.
You can catch the trout yourselves in our 12-km-long mountain stream or in the pond. Walter will, of course, give you support and tips.
Monika will gladly pass on tips and tricks in the kitchen. Jam made by our guests themselves is a perfect souvenir for loved ones at home.

Arrival
We are not far from the A2 motorway Klagenfurt - Graz.
Leave theA2 at the junction Wolfsberg Nord and drive on thePacker main road (B70) to Frantschach-St. Gertraud.
In St. Gertraud,turn right before a yellow inn onto theWeinebene country road (L148) .
After approx. 5 km at a right-hand bend with a bus stop, turn left to Kamp .
After approx. 350 m turn left again to Kamp .
After a further kilometre you will reach our farm on the left-hand side of the road.

The mild climate in Südkärnten gurantee bathing weather from the beginning of May. In the eastern part of Carinthia, the Lavanttal, create food producers really culinary experiences.
