About Us
The LEHENHOF lies at about 750 m above sea level in the midst of beautiful scenery - directly above St. Johann, in the middle of the Ski amadé and Salzburger Sportwelt. The ideal base for winter and summer sport, excursions and leisure activities. We offer comfortably appointed holiday apartments in varying sizes. A holiday at our farm offers you relaxation and peace in a friendly atmosphere, as well as an unforgettable experience.
We are also a riding farm and our riding instructor will teach your children how to handle the horses and ponies. The field paths around our farm are perfect for rides or you can also use our new riding arena. It has been equipped with LED lights so that you can also ride in the evening.
Hiking There are beautiful walking trails leading directly from the Lehenhof. In 1.5 hours you will be at the "Hahnbaum", where good food was always served up in the traditional "Vogeihütte" and where you will experience an incomparable view over the Salzachtal. A romantic forest trail takes you to the "Hetzenbichl" inn in just 20 minutes. Of course, there are also lots of great hiking tips to be found in your apartment information.
Help out on the farm - especially for children Some freedom on the farm and interaction with animals does your children a whole lot of good - you'll be astonished! Whether playing with our border collie Aron, riding with Lucy the pony; stroking the cats, sheep or calves, or helping out with the milking, feeding or mucking out the cows. The hay harvest and fruit harvest is also a lot of fun!
Winter is a real experience here with us. The Lehenhof lies right beside the Hahnbau, St. Johann's local mountain, the ideal ski region for families and beginners. Those looking for a challenge can try ski touring, zoom down the toboggan runs or have a go at ice skating. All these activities can be done in close proximity to the Lehenhof. In addition, there are beautiful hikes to be had in winter offering beautiful panoramic views, either on standard winter hiking trails or out and about with snowshoes on your feet.
