Landhof Adlerhorst

Immerse yourself in the untouched nature of the national park and spend your holiday on the Granig (vulgo „Schott“) family farm. Experience the beauty of the manicured lawns and forests, watch the eagles soar high in the sky and the deer that roam the meadows with their young ones.

The farmstead Adlerhorst is located in a secluded location in the village of Apriach (municipality of Heiligenblut). The farm is located below a forest 1450m above sea level and is directly accessible by car.

The farm is an active working farm with suckler-cows. Around the turn of the year (September to May) the cows and their calves are looked after at the farm. They can be visited in the stables and petted. Over the summer months the cattle can be found on the nearby meadow.

There are two chalets available each with two or three double rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. On request both chalets can be rented together.

The Hohe Tauern National Park offers a variety of leisure activities both in summer and in winter. In addition to hiking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding, gold panning, etc. In summer you can simple "just" enjoy nature and let your soul relax. In winter the nearby ski area, Heiligenblut-Großglockner invites you with its 55 km of slopes from 1300m up to 3000m above sea level. Guaranteed snow, expansive slopes, cross-country ski trails and numerous opportunities for touring guarantee unforgettable winter fun.
