A warm welcome to our farm Kürnsteinerhof, home of Lukas, Daniela and our daughter Ariana!

The farm Kürnsteinerhof has managed to maintain a sense of tranquility and a slower pace. You can feel it from the moment you get here. Surrounded by woods, meadows and pastures, with the local nature park “Mühlviertel” adjoining the farmlands, the Kürnsteinerhof is perched on a hill boasting an awe-inspiring view of the Alps. It’s this peaceful silence that made us, Lukas and Daniela, turn our backs on big city life. In 2020, we started to run our small organic farm together with Josef and Maria, Daniela’s parents. For us, it’s of utmost importance that everything gets the time it needs. Our animals need time to grow, meat needs time to age and humans need time to keep their energy up and continue finding pleasure in life and work.

Our tiny house “Isidor” seamlessly fits into this philosophy - it’s cosy, reduced to what’s essential, built with natural materials, designed with a loving eye for detail and boasts plenty of space; space to gaze into the distance, watch the cows graze on the pasture, take in the scent of hay and listen to the hum in the natural meadows dotted with wild flowers. Those who would like to grab a rake or join in the daily animal feeding, are welcome to do so. No need for anything else and the soul comes to rest!
