About Us
Welcome to our farm Bauernhof Kristan!
The oldest records of our farm date back to 1671. It has been run by our family ever since. It’s located at an altitude of 721 m. We started hosting guests in 1956. From 1984 to 2014, senior farmers Hubert and Gabi Kogler were the hosts. In 2014, Hubert jun. and Katrin Kogler have taken over.
Our family, that’s Hubert and Gabi Kogler with their two sons Hubert and Andreas. The family has welcomed daughter-in-law Katrin and the two kids Samuel and Hubert.
We breed Charolais cattle. Cattle, sheep, chicken, ponies, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and turtles call our farm their home.
Our farm features 3 holiday apartments, each one with 2 separate bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen with dining area, bathroom and toilet, hall. Tableware and linen is provided.
Our holiday apartments as well as the 2 mountain cabins (approx. 6 km from our farm) are for rent throughout the whole year.
Our place is in a central location between the tows of Klagenfurt, Villach and St. Veit.
