About Us
Our extraordinary location right on the Ritzensee leaves absolutely nothing to be desired! Close to the town center (just a 10-minute walk away) – yet in the middle of a popular local recreation area. This peaceful setting is just one of the many advantages when you stay with us at the Klampfererhof.
Due to our outstanding location between three major ski areas (Hochkönig - 5 km away, Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn – 7km, Schmittenhöhe-Kitzsteinhorn Glacier – 13 km), our wintertime guests are spoilt for choice. And a cross-country ski trail even runs right past our house. The Saalfelden/Leogang location is also offering more and more tourist attractions in summer. In the summer months and during transition periods, the steadily growing selection of mountain bike trails, hiking paths and cultural attractions is a source of constant excitement for visitors. Saalfelden is establishing itself as an international venue for sporting competitions (incl. TriMotion, Mountain Bike World Cup, Biketember) and cultural events (e.g. the Jazz Festival, Salzburg Harvest Festival, etc.).
Our 2 apartments (for 2, 4 or 6 people) have been lovingly designed and are fully equipped. From the large balconies, you can enjoy incomparable views of the mountains and Lake Ritzensee. Furthermore, we offer a double room which, if you happen to be spending a family holiday with several people, can be booked in combination with an apartment.
We also have a guest elevator in the house. You are welcome to leave your ski clothing and winter gear in the cellar, which is additionally equipped with a dryer for boots and clothes. In summer, we are happy to provide a secure room where you can store your mountain bikes.
You are welcome to use our beautiful garden – with its unobstructed mountain views (of the Kitzsteinhorn - Biberg - Leoganger Steinberge - Loferer Steinberge - Steinernes Meer, Ritzensee) – for sunbathing, grilling, or simply to enjoy a pleasant sit-down together. In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right by our property, while you are invited to take full advantage of our hillside behind the house for a few exciting sledding adventures.
Inside the house itself, you will find a small café with sun-terrace – sample regional specialties, or enjoy coffee & cake. In the evening, you are certain to feel right at home in our small dining room with bar as you treat yourself to hearty snacks and a drink. The fenced-in playground guarantees fun for the children and relaxation for their parents.
