Welcome to the Kaserergut!

Our Kaserergut is located approx. 1.8 km outside of Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße in a small idyllic village. The Großglocknerstraße starts in Bruck at kilometre 0. Surrounded by marvellous views, it takes you directly to Austria's highest peak.

In recent years, we have renovated our 400-year-old farm with a lot of love and local materials. The spacious holiday flat is located on the 1st floor in the neighbouring house and is ideal for families. We offer a bread roll service so that you can start your day with us in a relaxed manner.

Here with us you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet and nature and, if you want, follow farm life up close. In winter you can help out in the stables, feed and stroke our animals. In summer, our cattle are on the mountain pasture and you can also look after our horses, goats, cats and dogs.

Summer
In summer you can swim and relax in the nearby Lake Zell or explore the surrounding mountains on foot or by mountain bike. Schmidolin's baptism of fire is an experience for the whole family and is easily accessible with the areitXpress nearby. Of course you can also enjoy the nature and landscape on our cycle paths in the area. Here are some more activities in the area:

Winter
Whether on a toboggan, skis, cross-country skis, with or without snowshoes, the surrounding area offers you a wide range of opportunities to enjoy the snow-covered and partly unspoilt landscape. From our farm you can reach various large ski areas in just a few minutes' drive. So you can explore different slopes every day. For all those who long for relaxation and recreation, we can recommend the Tauernspa in Kaprun. Here you have even more activities in the surrounding area:

Our cats and rabbits are always happy to be petted by you! In winter, the stable on our farm is full of horses, goats, cows, calves, chickens and alpacas. In summer, the cattle go to the mountain pasture and the horses, goats and alpacas to the meadows around our farm. We are happy to offer you alpaca walks by appointment.
