Highlights
About Us
Our Hoislbauerhütte is located at 1,548 m in the Laderdinger Alpine Pasture area in the Gastein Valley region in Salzburg Land. You'll stay in a sunny spot at the edge of the forest and enjoy expansive views over the valley to the Hochkönigmassiv.
Your Getaway in the Alps 🏔️
Up here, everything slows down. You'll hear the gentle trickling of water from the fountain right next to the hut and experience nature without much hustle and bustle. In the evening, you can cook on the wood-burning stove and let the day wind down on the terrace.
Hut & Facilities 🛏️
We lovingly renovated the hut in 2013, preserving its rustic character. At the same time, you'll enjoy modern comforts: running water, PV electricity, satellite TV, as well as a shower and toilet. The Hoislbauerhütte is a self-catering hut for up to 9 people.
Arrival at the Hut 🚗
Before heading to the hut, we'll meet at our farm, Hoislbauerngut in Laderding 9, 5630 Bad Hofgastein. Together, we'll continue up to the alpine pasture. It's approx. 5.5 km via an unpaved forest road. Use of the Laderdinger Alpine Trail is at your own risk.
Summer in the Surroundings ☀️
In summer, you can start directly from the hut into the hiking area – ideal for family-friendly tours in the Gastein Valley in Salzburg Land. Around Bad Hofgastein, there are also many excursion destinations for children and parents: In bad weather or for relaxation, the Alpentherme Gastein with family areas and slides is perfect. A mountain highlight is the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein with a cable car, suspension bridge, and fantastic views. For a varied day trip, the Hohenwerfen Adventure Castle with a castle tour and bird of prey show is also worthwhile.
The hut is closed in winter.
We look forward to welcoming you soon!
The Dankl Family
You are welcome to purchase our homemade products at our farm. In addition to homemade bread, we offer jams and honey, syrup, liqueurs, different types of schnapps, and traditional products made from Alpine pine – pine sachets, pillows with pine shavings, and pine schnapps. We also sell homemade St. John's Wort oil, arnica tinctures, and different types of salves.
We do not have animals on the alm during the summer months.
There are cows, goats and pigs grazing during the summer.
