Start your day with one of our breakfast baskets! You are welcome to order this prior to your arrival. We fill it with butter, eggs, milk, cream cheese, and jam from our farm, along with other products from the 'Troadkastn'.

Our family-friendly organic farm with a personal atmosphere is located approximately 800m from the town centre in a quiet, sunny valley in the beautiful Grossarltal-Hubdörfl area. Directly on walking and cycling paths.

There is plenty of room for children to play and run about. You can also barbecue outdoors. As a special offer for children and animal lovers, we have animals on the farm all year round (cattle, pigs, rabbits, chickens, cats and a dog) and a children's playground.

We are happy to serve you our home-made products like milk, butter, jam, cheese, bread and eggs, etc. Even the self-distilled schnapps could be worth a try. We are a family with four children as well as grandma.

A lively farm - and we try to give all our guests a small taste of life on the farm. We strive to make your holiday a fun, relaxing and unforgettable experience.

Our animals are looking forward to meeting your children and being feeded and petted by them. We have cows, calves, chicken, pigs, rabbits and cats. Most of our animals are on our farm the whole year round. Only our cows spend their summer holidays up on the mountain.

Basic directions:

Past St. Johann- Landstrasse Grossarl, at the roundabout to the Hubdorf junction (just before the "Raiffeisen" petrol station)

Go right over the curved bridge and turn left after about 100m (before it goes up the hill)

Continue straight ahead until you reach the Hinterhub Farm Hubdorf 16.

Großarltal Valley

The Großarltal valley is known as the “valley of alpine pastures” for a good reason. In Großarl and Hüttschlag, more than 40 cosy mountain cabins are scattered across the alpine pastures. Take in the scent of wild flowers, enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view in the Hohe Tauern National Park and stop by one of the mountain cabins after hiking. Indulge in culinary delights such as home-made butter, cheese and freshly baked bread from the wood-fired oven. And in winter? Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, tobogganing or skiing are only a few of the outdoor activities. What else do you need for a great winter holiday?
