The Helfer Alm is available for rent in the spring and summer months from mid-May to the end of November!
Enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, beautiful view of St. Martin am Tennengebirge.
Take time out, relax, unwind in the sauna, enjoy nature on the covered terrace.
Our tiled cooker and a wood cooker provide quick and pleasant warmth.

Welcome to the Helfer Alm in Niedernfritz- Hüttau!

What does your ideal summer holiday look like? Are you searching for peace and quiet amid meadows and forests? If so, our Helfer Alm will probably be perfect for you.

Our cozy hut accommodates up to five people. In a stand-alone location at 1150 m above sea level, surrounded by 4 ha of meadows and 11 ha of pastures, you will be able to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of St. Martin am Tennengebirge.

And our hut is easy to reach by car via a forestry road.

Active holiday or pure relaxation?

Our hut is the ideal base for hikes and mountain bike tours, e.g. to the Frommerkogel, where you will be greeted by huts that serve refreshments accompanied by great scenery. The hiking areas of Annaberg-Lungötz-Lammertal and Dachstein West are located close by. Or simply enjoy the tranquility of our roofed terrace, where you can also host a very pleasant grill evening. And after a beautiful day spent amid alpine meadows, you will probably be ready to stretch out and re-energize in the sauna!

With boundless love for detail, we have refurbished our mountain hut for the enjoyment of our guests. On 120 m² of living space, you will find everything you need for a peaceful, reenergizing vacation – far removed from any kinds of stresses or distractions. We also provide chairs and loungers for you to use in the outdoor area.

To get here, take the A10 (Tauern Autobahn) to Eben im Pongau. Continue to Niedernfritz on the B 99 (Katschberg-Bundesstraße). Make a right at Gasthof Brunnhäusl onto the B 166 (Pass Gschütt Straße), then turn left at the junction onto Haslangerweg. Follow this road for about 1.8 km – through a sharp left-hand bend in the direction of Haslanger -Frommerkogel – continue for about 2 km – on the left, you will now see a sign for the Helfer Alm. Drive down this road until you reach our hut.
