Those who want to be active can jump straight onto the well-developed network of cycle paths that circles Lake Constance and leads into the beautiful Leiblachtal valley. Themed trails, guided tours and sporting adventures are just as easy to organise as relaxing swimming trips to the lake.

Where Lake Constance lies at your feet – winter magic for two
Imagine: quiet forests and clear winter air tickling your cheeks. During the cold season, the studio on the south-western slope in Lochau becomes a refuge for couples seeking closeness and tranquillity – and who also want to enjoy an active winter.
Whether on long walks, gentle winter hikes through the Leiblachtal valley or winter sports in the surrounding regions – here you will find the perfect balance between exercise and relaxation.
Culture lovers can discover museums and exhibitions, while romantic trips to nearby towns promise variety.
And then there are the evenings: returning to the comfort of your own four walls, enjoying the view of Lake Constance in winter and simply savouring the time together.
A place where you feel welcome and supported – whether you are looking for sporting activities or peace and quiet.

PS: Due to our unique, secluded location, our house can only be reached by mountain-suitable vehicle and with complete winter equipment or on foot in appropriate weather conditions – so your break begins with a special journey.

Arrival
Take the Rheintalautobahn (A14) and leave at the Hörbranz exit (directly at the border crossing with Germany). Drive on the Hoffriedenstraße in the direction of Lochau. After about 700 meters (after Billa, Sutterlüty and Autohaus Walter) turn left into Hoferstraße. Still before Schloss Hofen, turn right after 400 meters onto Schwendeweg. At the fork in the road after 160 meters, turn left in the direction of Eglisberg. Follow the road for about 500 meters until you reach Hausblick Matt (Eglisberg 6) at the end of the road on the right.
