Quiet, sunny location

Our farm is situated in a quiet, secluded location a few minutes by car above Bad Hofgastein and offers a great view of the Gastein Valley and the surrounding mountains.
Ideal starting point

You can start your leisure activities in summer and winter directly from the farm. Hiking trails and mountain bike tours lead right past the house, and your hosts will take you to the lift in winter.
Large holiday apartment

Our holiday flat offers enough space for up to 8 people. Ideal for families and small groups who want to enjoy their holiday in the Gastein Valley away from the hustle and bustle.

Welcome to the Hartlgut in Bad Hofgastein!

Our Hartlgut Farm awaits you at 1086 m above sea level in a peaceful, sunny, stand-alone location above Bad Hofgastein, at the entrance to Angertal. Here with us, you will be able to spend a reenergizing holiday and enjoy the wonderful views of Gasteinertal.

The large, comfortable holiday apartment is located on the second floor of our farmhouse, featuring three bedrooms, one fully equipped kitchen/living room and two baths.

Our Hartlgut is a dairy farm. The cows spend summer grazing the high pastures of Nassfeld, though our young cattle stay here at the farm year-round. In addition to them, our donkey, horse, sheep, dog and cats all look forward to meeting you.

Summer Holidays at the Hartlgut
Mountain bike tours and hiking paths begin from right here at the farm. Archery and fishing are also possible at a nearby inn. Supermarkets, restaurants, spa resorts, mountain lifts etc. are only a few minutes’ drive from our farm.

Winter Holidays at the Hartlgut
The ski lifts aren’t far from our farm. Your host is happy to bring you to the lifts in the morning. At the end of your day of skiing, you will be able to ski all the way back to the farm. You won’t need your car at all. You can also set out on ski tours from the farm, e.g. to the top of the Kalkbretterkopf (elev. 2412 m) or the Stubnerkogel (2246 m). Close to the farm is a sledding hill along with lots of space for snowball fights, building snowmen etc.
In winter, snow chains might be necessary in order to drive all the way to our farm. Please bring them with you!

Our dairy cows spend the summer (June to September) grazing the alpine pastures. For the rest of the year, you can buy milk fresh every day from our farm. When the cows are back at the farm, we also offer our homemade butter.
