A truly special experience is a hike to the idyllic Göriacher Hüttendorf, a unique alpine village of this kind, which is easily accessible for families with small children and prams, but also for older guests. The Hansalhütte is open from the end of May to October.
Our farmer and hut keeper Mathias looks forward to spoiling his guests with home-grown products and Lungau delicacies.

Savor the taste of farm-fresh goodness! Our guests love waking up to organic milk from our own cows, homemade jams, and fresh seasonal fruits. A true highlight of your stay is our beloved Ulli, who delights guests with her legendary, freshly baked cakes.
For an authentic culinary journey, visit our rustic Hansal Hut in the idyllic Göriach hut village. Open from June to September, it is the perfect spot to enjoy hearty, traditional home cooking. Our premium bacon and specialty house sausages are crafted with generations of experience and care right here on our organic farm—a must-try delicacy!
Depending on the season, we also offer premium organic beef and organic mountain lamb. Because our animals are raised with love and respect, and processed directly on-site, we guarantee the highest standards of animal welfare and stress-free handling, resulting in exceptional quality you can taste.
Animals
Our traditional organic farm is home to around 60 cattle, including dairy cows and calves. During your stay, you will also meet our friendly Tyrolean mountain sheep and their fluffy lambs, adorable Valais Blacknose sheep, playful pigs, and our cuddly farm cat.
During the sunny summer months, most of our herd and sheep graze happily on the lush alpine pastures surrounding Göriach. However, some of our gentle dairy cows, tiny calves, and sweet sheep stay behind at the farm, ready to welcome you and provide a true, hands-on farmhouse experience! ☀️

Arrival
From the Salzburg side, you can reach us on the B99, which goes through the Obertauern ski area or on the A10 Tauern motorway, where a fee of €5.00 will be incurred.
Coming from Vienna, you can reach us via the S6 and S36 through Leoben, Judenburg, and Murau.
