About Us
The Halterhütte was renovated in 2020 above the former stable. It is nestled in a sheltered hollow right next to the managed Geigerhütte.
The 65 m² apartment has been lovingly furnished with furniture made from the reclaimed wood of the “old” Halterhütte.
The cabin is equipped with a bathroom and toilet, 2 bedrooms, a balcony, a living area with a kitchen and wood stove, and a cozy snug corner. There is hot water and limited electricity (for lights, radio, and refrigerator).
Access right up to the cabin is via a 12 km long toll road.
The Wöllaner Nock offers numerous hiking opportunities for the whole family, and berry and mushroom pickers will also fully get their money's worth.
With us, you can enjoy nature undisturbed, as there is no mobile reception directly at the cabin. But don't worry, after a short walk (10 mins) up a hill, you are reconnected with the outside world and can enjoy a magnificent view extending all the way to the Julian Alps.
