Our Hainzalm is situated in a sunny, secluded location at 940 meters above sea level, above Leogang in Pinzgau – right in the heart of Salzburger Land. Surrounded by lush alpine meadows, dense forests, and offering magnificent views of the Leogang Mountains, you can enjoy peace, fresh mountain air, and nature far away from everyday life. At the same time, you can reach the center of Leogang with its restaurants, shopping facilities, and mountain railways in just 10 - 15 minutes by car. The towns of Saalfelden (approx. 15 minutes), Zell am See (approx. 30 minutes), and the city of Salzburg (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes) are easily accessible, making Hainzalm the ideal starting point for excursions in Salzburger Land.

 🏡 Cozy Alpine Hut with Lots of Comfort

Our cozy self-catering alpine hut accommodates up to 5 people, combining the charm of a traditional mountain cabin with modern comfort. Two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a spacious antechamber with a cozy tiled stove ensure relaxing holidays. On the terrace with a barbecue, you can enjoy the fantastic mountain views and unwind after a day of adventure.

In summer, our cows graze on the alpine meadows around the hut. With a bit of luck, you might also spot deer, squirrels, rabbits, or numerous native bird species. Nature becomes a grand adventure, especially for children – playing in the alpine meadows, exploring the forest, or discovering the small stream near the hut. Out of consideration for our grazing livestock, dogs are not permitted at Hainzalm.

Hainzalm is easily accessible by car and is the ideal starting point for unforgettable holidays in the Saalfelden Leogang region. Numerous hiking and walking trails through the impressive mountain world start right at the hut's doorstep. Mountain bike enthusiasts will also find excellent conditions here. Families can look forward to diverse excursion destinations in the surrounding area:

• Take the Asitzbahn cable car up to adventure mountain Asitz with the 'Sinne-Erlebnispark' (Sensory Experience Park), Motorikweg (Motor Skills Path), and numerous family hiking trails.
• Epic Bikepark Leogang with varied trails, practice areas, and bike offers for the whole family.
• Hikes to rustic alpine huts and panoramic peaks of the Leogang Mountains and Kitzbühel Alps.
• Swimming fun at Lake Ritzen in Saalfelden, Lake Zell, or the natural swimming lake Niedernsill.
• Excursions to Seisenbergklamm gorge, Lamprechtshöhle cave, or the spectacular Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
