A holiday in a very special place!
The Gschlosserhof is located above the village of Tiffen! Our farm is situated on a plateau, where you can unwind in peace, far away from the hustle and bustle. A very special holiday awaits you behind the walls of the former Tiffen Castle! Here, centuries of history, modern and cozy living, farm life, and the tranquility of nature come together. In parts of our house, you can still trace the steps of knights and lords of the castle! The former castle was built in the 15th century and has been owned by the Hinteregger family since 1665!

You are welcome to purchase various delicacies such as milk, eggs, and salami directly from us at the farm.
To start your day full of energy, we offer a fresh bread roll service. Since baking is a great passion of Katharina's, fresh, home-baked pastries and farmhouse bread are available daily here at the Gschlosserhof, allowing you to start your day in a completely relaxed way.
Animals
Right in the middle of farm life
There is something to experience every day here on our farm, and our guests, both young and old, are very welcome to join in!
Anyone who likes can accompany us to the barn to watch and help out with the daily farm chores. Together, we feed and milk our cows, give the calves their fresh milk, and of course, our cats also look forward to a portion of food and plenty of cuddles.
Especially for children, it is a wonderful experience to get up close to the animals, get to know them, and see what happens on a farm every day.

Sustainability
Sustainability is nothing new to us – it has been a part of life on our farm for generations. We use what nature gives us, pay attention to short distances, and try to manage our farm's resources responsibly.
Water from our own spring
Our farm is fully supplied with water from our own spring. The natural spring water is used both in the house and in the stable for our animals.
In addition, we collect rainwater, which we use to irrigate our large garden. This allows us to use valuable drinking water where it is truly needed.
Heating with our own forest
The warmth for our farm comes from wood chips from our own forest. This way, we use a regional and renewable raw material right on our doorstep.
From our own forest to the wood chips and the warmth in the house – the distances are short, and the added value remains on the farm.
Our milk – our products
Our cows provide the milk, some of which we process directly on the farm. Among other things, this produces quark (Topfen) and mozzarella.
In this way, what our farm produces is turned into our own food with a lot of manual labor – fresh, regional, and of traceable origin.
Our large vegetable garden
In our large vegetable garden grows much of what allows us to feed ourselves over a long period of the year. Vegetables and herbs grow directly on the farm and come fresh to our table.
For our guests, the garden is also a beautiful insight into the authentic life on the farm: sowing, letting grow, harvesting, and enjoying.
Our farm as a living space
Water from our own spring, wood from our own forest, food from our animals, and vegetables from our own garden – much of what we need to live is produced directly on our farm.
This is what sustainability means to us: living and working with what nature and our farm give us – consciously, regionally, and with respect for our surroundings.

Our holiday apartment is comfortably and modernly furnished and offers everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.
The fully equipped modern kitchen features a microwave and a fully automatic coffee machine. The cozy bedroom invites you to sleep in with a comfortable double bed . The children's room features a double bed and a single bed – upon request, we are also happy to provide a cot for our youngest guests .
Of course, there is also a TV and free Wi-Fi.
The perfect place to relax after an exciting day on the farm or at Lake Ossiach.
