We warmly welcome you to our family-run guest house. For over 50 years, the Grünwaldhof has stood for hospitality and tradition.
Our Pension Garni Grünwaldhof is located in the middle of the beautiful Zillertal Alps. In the district of Lanersbach we are located in immediate vicinity of the Eggalm, Rastkogel, and Hintertux Glacier ski and hiking areas. The perfect starting point for various hikes, on foot directly from the guesthouse, with the free bus that stops right outside our front door, or with the Eggalmbahn cable car straight up into the mountains. After an eventful day, adults can relax on our terrace while our younger guests can burn off some energy in the sandbox, on our play tower with a slide and swing, or on the trampoline. The center of Lanersbach is approx. 1km away, and on the way there are several restaurants and various shopping facilities.

At the end of the Zillertal begins one of the most beautiful high alpine valleys, the Tuxertal, with its imposing Hintertux Glacier at the head of the valley. Healthy mountain air, breathtaking mountain landscapes, warm-hearted people, genuine tradition, sporting activities, and cultural delights from 850m to 3,250m make holidays in Tux a guaranteed unforgettable experience!

We welcome you warmly to our family-run guest house. For over 50 years, the Grünwaldhof has stood for hospitality and tradition.
Our Pension Garni Grünwaldhof is located in the midst of the beautiful Zillertal Alps. In the district of Lanersbach, we are in immediate proximity to the Eggalm, Rastkogel, and Hintertux Glacier ski areas. In a central location between two ski areas, the Eggalm and the Rastkogelbahn, we are the perfect starting point for a great ski holiday. Winter presents itself at its most beautiful and best in this unique sports paradise: 227 kilometers of finely groomed slopes and 59 state-of-the-art lift facilities 4 ski mountains combined with one ski pass – Ski Area 3000
The bus stop is located directly in front of our doorstep, with which you can also reach the Hintertux Glacier for free in approx. 15 minutes. For non-skiers, there is also a wide range of activities. Right opposite is the cross-country ski trail, and the ice skating rink can also be reached on foot in a few minutes. In the immediate vicinity, there is also an illuminated toboggan run, and our kilometers of hiking trails naturally invite you to relax as well. The center of Lanersbach is approx. 1km away, and on the way there, there are several restaurants and various shopping opportunities.
Tux-Finkenberg takes off!
Winter presents itself at its most beautiful and best in this unique sports paradise:
- 206 km of finely groomed slopes, 65 state-of-the-art lift facilities,
- 5 ski areas combined with one ski pass
- Cross-country ski trail directly on the doorstep, the sporting options in the Tuxertal include 14 km of classic trail and 14 km of skating trail.
- 2 groomed toboggan runs with mountain inns, which are also illuminated in the evening
- 68km of winter hiking trails ensure winter variety

The Klausner Family
Farm products and catering
Milk, homemade yogurt, homemade liqueurs and herbal salts, homemade pine hearts, freshly laid eggs from our chickens and from the region, schnapps from the region.
Animals
Our dairy cows, cattle and calves live directly in the barn next door. You are welcome to visit our animals there in the evening from 17:00 and watch and help with the stable work. From the middle of May until the beginning of October our cows are allowed to let off steam on the Eggalm, of course you can also admire the cows on the mountain pasture.
In our new garden house you can pet and feed our goats, rabbits, guinea pigs and quails. Behind the barn there are still our hardworking chickens who are also happy about a visit.
Our farm dog Luna will receive you already at your arrival friendly.
