You will be amazed.
An alpine dairy cabin with a history of more than 60 years has been transformed into a cozy alpine hut with all modern comforts.
For the interior, our own local wood, such as larch, stone pine, and spruce, was used and artfully combined with modern materials.
You will find the Gitzlerhütte at 1,470 m above sea level in a secluded location on a south-west slope.
The view is simply dreamlike. It will immediately make you want to go for a hike in the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve and look forward to the summit.
Insider tip:
In our small fish pond, you can sometimes catch a trout or a char.
We are also happy to invite you to go hunting or wildlife watching.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in our cabin.

Our former alpine cabin has been completely and lovingly renovated - a cabin to make you feel right at home. All furniture was handcrafted by us personally from solid wood.
Antechamber, fully equipped kitchen (running water, sink, kettle, toaster), wood stove, seating area; cozy living room in reclaimed larch wood; bathroom with shower/WC; bed linen, towels and wood for heating are provided; upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed and one single bed; electricity 230V, satellite TV.

Arrival
You can reach the cabin via the B 95 in the direction of Zedlitzdorf. The cabin is located 6 km above Zedlitzdorf and can be reached via a very good gravel road. Direct access by car is possible right up to the cabin.
