Escape everyday life and immerse yourself in the clear mountain air, the tranquility, and the idyllic nature! The Lamprechtbauer is located high above the charming mountaineering village of Mauthen, right on the Plöcken Pass. Here, a breathtaking view over the entire valley awaits you – the perfect starting point for unforgettable hikes in the Carnic Alps. Enjoy what is surely the most beautiful view over the Lower Lesachtal and the Upper Gailtal.
In our house, we serve you traditional Carinthian cuisine, prepared with fresh products from our own farm as well as delicious specialties from the Gailtal and Lesachtal region. From Gailtal alpine cheese and homemade bacon to local game – here you can taste the quality and the love for nature.

Clear mountain air, peace, and idyll - back to nature! The Lamprechtbauer is located high above the mountaineering village of Mauthen, right on the Plöcken Pass, offering a picturesque view over the entire valley and serving as an ideal starting point for hikes in the Carnic Alps. A sanctuary with arguably the most beautiful view over the Lower Lesachtal and Upper Gailtal.
We serve traditional Carinthian cuisine. The basis for this is products from our own farm and specialties from the Gail and Lesachtal valleys. From Gailtal alpine cheese and homemade bacon to local game.
With us, you can forget the stress of everyday life and switch off in the midst of untouched nature!

We try to pass on a piece of our quality of life to our guests. In this, we are supported by our producers, with whom we share a deep appreciation for traditional values, honest products, and inherited knowledge.
Treating our nature responsibly is a matter of course for us.
We therefore guarantee:
