Our wine production unit is a family business encompassing a plantation area of 13.5 hectares of traditional white and red wine varieties typical of the Seewinkel area.
We attach particular importance to a natural wine-growing philosophy coupled with the latest cellar technology.
The key factors are:
- besides planting the area-specific grape varieties (Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, blauburgunder, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Muskat-Ottonel, Traminer....
- a systematic pruning of the wines
- a gentle processing
- a comprehensive soil management process
- special integrated management of wines
After determining the perfect harvest time the next step comprises an authentic and gentle crushing process - all grapes are hand-picked.
Our first priority is to produce dry quality wines or wines with distinction indicating sufficient ripeness at the time of harvest.
A proof of the excellent quality of our wines are the innumerable national and international medals won at wine competitions. We won the greatest award at the international wine competition in Laibach 1983
