There are many places where you can go on holiday. Many promise a fantastic view, modern rooms, countless leisure opportunities, and relaxation in nature. And yes – we have all of that too.
We have a beautiful view of the mountains that inspires anew every morning. We are located in the middle of a landscape that invites you to breathe deeply. Directly in front of our doorstep, varied hiking trails begin – from leisurely walks to challenging mountain tours. In winter, the landscape transforms into a real paradise for snow lovers: whether skiing and snowboarding on the nearby ski slopes, tobogganing, winter hiking, or a cozy snowshoe hike – there is something for everyone. Our rooms have been freshly renovated with love and combine modern comfort with the special charm of a modern forest farm.
But if we are honest, that is not what makes our farm truly special.
At our farm, we live, work, laugh, and sometimes improvise. Here you can hear the crowing of the rooster in the morning, the quacking of the ducks, and the chirping of the birds. The scent of fresh hay is just as much a part of everyday life as the warm greeting when you meet each other. Here we know each other by name. We take time for one another. Anyone who has questions gets answers. Anyone looking for hiking tips receives recommendations based on our own experience. Anyone who simply wants to switch off will find peace – without rush and without obligations.
We believe it is the small moments that stay in your memory…

Our farm shop and commercial kitchen are currently still under construction, but the first ideas and products are already taking shape.
Commercial Kitchen
Tiroler Gröstl – crispy potatoes with bacon, onions, and a fried egg.
Tiroler Kaspressknödel – savory cheese dumplings, traditionally served in a rich beef broth or with a fresh salad.
Tiroler Schlutzkrapfen – delicate ravioli filled with savory potato or curd cheese, served with melted butter and fresh herbs.
Herbert was able to learn, refine, and serve all of these dishes to his guests at the Wirtshaus Steuerberg under the guidance of Barbara and Wolfgang Obernauer.
He is bringing his passion and experience for good food from gastronomy to the farm. In our own berry garden, we grow blackberries, currants, and strawberries. We also cultivate special fruits like kiwis and figs. What we can grow, process, and produce on the farm is to be created with great passion, care, and a high standard of quality. We want to offer products that suit us and our farm – regional and honest.
Farm Shop The concept of our farm shop is also growing step by step. We would like to create a small “gift box from the farm” – for a souvenir from your holiday, a small thank you for an invitation, or simply something to bring joy to a loved one.
Firelighter Cones – spruce cones refined with beeswax as a practical little helper for the stove, fireplace, or fire bowl
Horse Chestnut Powder – a natural detergent made from local horse chestnuts
Willow Stars – woven from palm branches, these handmade decorations bring a piece of nature and craftsmanship into your home
What is still under construction today, we hope to share with our guests very soon.
Animals
Our pygmy goats are curious, cheeky, and always right in the middle of things. They love to be petted and are delighted by every little visitor. Right next to them, our chickens and runner ducks bustle about, always busily searching for something interesting. Of course, our rooster is not to be missed – with his powerful crowing, he is simply a part of the morning farmyard concert.
Our guinea pigs and the large giant rabbits are also delighted to welcome animal lovers of all ages. And then there is Enzo, our farm dog. He is our loyal companion, friendly greeter, and right in the middle of all the farm action. Wherever there is action, Enzo is usually not far away.
Our animals live on our farm all year round and spend their days outside in the great outdoors. They are a part of our daily lives.
