Alpine pasture adventure for children

Whether on the Mooserboden or on the way to the alpine pasture, in the streams and nature as well as on the Fürthermoar Alm. There is space for children to run around, explore and play everywhere.

With us you travel by bus, the inclined elevator and back by bus! The journey is included in the price for our guests.

Welcome to the Fürthermoar Alm in our hideaways!

Our Alm is idyllically situated in the Kaprunertal between the Wasserfallboden and the Mooserboden reservoir at an altitude of 1,803 metres. Between mountain peaks and reservoir you can relax and enjoy your time out in our chalets. We have created hideaways - for all those looking for peace and nature! Come up to come down!

Travelling to our Alm is special. Our guests can park their car for free at the Kesselfall car park. You can then take the bus to the Lärchwand inclined lift. The lift takes you 430 metres up in 5 minutes and then you take the bus back down to the Alm. The tickets for the bus and the inclined lift are included for our guests. An Alpine taxi is also available on request and for a fee.

Once you arrive at the Alm, your unique holiday begins with views, hiking, enjoyment or relaxation. Our chalets are located right next to the mountain hut and the pub. Enjoy the advantage of quiet, private accommodation with catering on site. On request, we can serve you our delicacies on your private terrace. A personalised breakfast basket is served daily to ensure you start the day fresh and lively.

The two chalets offer you a perfect combination of privacy and luxury. Each chalet has its own sauna, a cosy panoramic bathtub and a private roof terrace. The fenced garden is equipped with a hanging swing under the canopy, a dining table on the covered veranda and a charcoal barbecue.

Our two gems are furnished with great attention to detail using local woods, spruce and larch, and the colours of the reservoirs.

It will certainly be difficult to leave your little oasis of well-being. However, we highly recommend that you explore the area surrounding the Alm. You can take leisurely walks or set off on challenging mountain tours from the Alm. For the more adventurous, there is the opportunity to climb the dam wall and much more. The Electricity and Ice Museum at the power station attracts many visitors and tells the exciting story of the reservoir. Of course, you can also visit Kaprun and the other villages in the valley - the return journey is included in the price every day.

Our cattle, horses, goats, sheep and pigs graze around the alpine pasture. Once you have wandered through the lush meadows, you will really appreciate the fresh milk and all our products. Our chickens, who are responsible for the breakfast eggs, strut around with their heads held high, always on the lookout for treats. There are rabbits and cute quails to cuddle and stroke. It is exciting when the marmots whistle and can be observed.

The ascent and descent by bus and inclined lift is included during your entire stay.

Once you arrive in Kaprun, drive to the end of the Kaprun valley to the Kesselfall car park, where you can park your car free of charge in the multi-storey car park. Pick up your ticket for the free ascent at the ticket office, which you will receive on presentation of your booking confirmation, and then take the bus to the Lärchwand inclined lift. After you have conquered 430 metres of altitude in 5 minutes with the inclined lift, you continue by bus to the Fürthermoar Alm.

Important information: The last ascent takes place at 15:30!
A later arrival is possible by registering with our Almtaxi.
