In a quiet hillside location near Vorau, nestled in the landscape of Eastern Styria, lies our farm with the three holiday apartments Fuchs, Hase, and Igel.
Extensive meadows and plenty of forest shape the character of this place.
Around 50 ewes and their lambs live around the house. In the adjacent forest and meadow areas, there is a large population of fallow and red deer – including capital stags and white deer.
The holiday apartments are modern and tastefully designed, offering direct outdoor access and views of the surrounding nature. The location offers peace, distance, and a stay free from distractions.
The quiet location makes our farm an ideal starting point for varied excursions in Eastern Styria. Whether hikes through the rolling hills, cycling tours, horseback riding excursions, or a relaxing round of golf – numerous leisure opportunities are just a few minutes' drive away. Families can enjoy mini-golf, alpacas, and animal experiences in the surrounding area, while in winter, the ski resorts of Wenigzell, Mönichkirchen and Stuhleck invite you to active days in the snow. For relaxation, the thermal baths of Bad Waltersdorf, Stegersbach, and Loipersdorf are within easy reach.

Fuchs, Hase & Igel – Winter Holidays on the Farm in Vorau
In a quiet location on the mountain near Vorau, nestled in the gentle winter landscape of Eastern Styria, lies our family-run farm with the three holiday apartments Fuchs, Hase, and Igel.
When the first frost covers the fields and the hills around Vorau sink into wintery peace, our farm shows its particularly cozy side. Far away from the hustle and bustle, you can enjoy crisp winter air, snow-covered landscapes, and relaxing days in our lovingly furnished holiday apartments.
Even in the cold season, there is much to discover on the farm. Ewes spend the winter on the farm, and fallow and red deer live in the surrounding forests. High-quality products such as lamb and venison come from our own farming and hunting activities, and are available directly from the farm depending on the season.
Our farm is also an ideal starting point for a variety of winter excursions. Family-friendly ski areas such as Wenigzell, Mönichkirchen-Mariensee, or the Stuhleck are within easy reach. Those seeking relaxation will find soothing wellness in the thermal baths of Bad Waltersdorf, Stegersbach, or Loipersdorf. Winter hikes through the snow-covered rolling hills or a visit to Vorau Abbey also make the cold season a special experience.

Farm products and catering
Ewes and their lambs live all around the farm. In the adjoining forest and meadow areas, there is a large population of fallow and red deer – including majestic stags and white animals. High-quality products such as lamb and venison come from our own farming and hunting, and are available directly at the farm depending on the season.
Animals
For many children, encounters with the animals are among their most beautiful holiday memories.
Around the farm, about 50 ewes live with their lambs and offer exciting insights into rural life. The spacious meadows and our own forest are also habitats for red, fallow, and sika deer.
With a little luck, the animals can be observed from afar, and nature around the farm can be experienced with all your senses.
Here, children can discover, marvel, and get to know country life in a completely natural way.
