Welcome to the Foidlhof in Hochfilzen – your holiday home in a sunny location in the Tyrolean mountains.

Our family-run farm is situated in a quiet and idyllic location nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps and offers the best conditions for a relaxing and active holiday in every season. Enjoy the splendour of summer, go on lots of hikes and bike rides through the beautiful Pillerseetal valley, discover great excursion destinations, go swimming in the lake and much more... After an active day, our two cosy holiday apartments invite you to relax and unwind. The clear mountain air, the magnificent view, the warm atmosphere and genuine Tyrolean hospitality make the Foidlhof an ideal place for families, couples and those seeking peace and quiet to feel at home. 

Dogs are also very welcome here, so you can enjoy your holiday to the fullest together with your four-legged companion.

On request, you can enjoy fresh bread and pastries every day from our bread roll service. During your stay, a covered parking space in the carport is available free of charge. 

Parents will find the “adventure farm” for children of all ages here!

  • Guided horseback riding on the farm's own riding arena, 1-2 times a week in the evenings during the summer months of July and August with our well-behaved, child-friendly horses “Kokosch,” “Indian,” and “Kamilla” (€15 per ride/child) | Guided horseback riding available upon request in May, June, September, and October.
  • Help with stable work - feeding calves, caring for chickens, miniature goats, and miniature rabbits, collecting eggs from the nest, petting cats.
  • Children's playground with large ground trampoline, sandpit, swing, slide, and seesaw.
  • Sunny furnished terrace right next to the playground in the garden.
  • Children's traffic park with go-karts and pedal tractors

Special highlights in the Pillerseetal valley include market days, the soul lights on Lake Pillersee, the Familienland adventure and leisure park in St. Jakob, the Triassic Park on the Steinplatte in Waidring, Timok's Wild World and the Alpine Coaster in Fieberbrunn, the walk-in Jakobskreuz on the Buchensteinwand in St. Jakob, the shopping night in Fieberbrunn, the games night in Waidring, ...

Our hens ´Henriette‘, Hildegard‘, ‘Mathilda‘, ‘Traudi‘, ‘Burgi‘, ‘Gerti‘ love to take a sand bath in their sunny outdoor enclosure.

Our dwarf goats
‘Heidi’ and “Elsa” love to go on little voyages of discovery during stable time and are allowed to enjoy the summer freshness at our restaurant ‘Hoametzl-Hütte’ during the summer months.

Our beloved dwarf rabbits
‘Nelly’, ‘Holly’, “Lotti” and ‘Lilly’ love feeding time, especially when they are allowed to eat their food directly from the children's hands under the supervision of the farmer's wife.

Our farm cats
‘Peter’ and ‘Paul’ are often on the hunt for mice.

The cosily furnished ‘Spielberg’ holiday flat is located on the 1st floor (south-east side) and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Tyrolean mountains on approx. 60 m². The flat has: an entrance hall, a kitchen-diner with a cosy sitting area and sofa, radio and cable TV, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower/WC. The fully equipped kitchenette leaves nothing to be desired: fridge with freezer compartment, 4 hotplates, small oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer and dishwasher. WiFi is also available. Bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and tea towels, as well as a hairdryer and cosmetic mirror are provided. For our younger guests, we are happy to provide a cot, safety rail and high chair on request.

Our holiday flat is ideal for families, couples or groups of up to 4 people. The sunny balcony and terrace in the garden invite you to enjoy the view and simply relax.

TOLL FREE - For those coming for the north.Via Munich (A8 motorway) - to A12 motorway in the direction of Kufstein - take the exit at Kufstein - South (Felbertauern) - B 173 to B 178 in the direction of St.Johann/Tirol - at B 164 turn in the direction of Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen. For those coming from the west (south):Via Innsbruck A12 motorway (road tax sticker required) -take the exit at Wörgl-Ost - B 178 in the direction of St.Johann/Tirol - at B164 turn to Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen. For those coming from East: Via Salzburg A1 motorway (road tax sticker required) -take the exit at Salzburg West or the exit at Bad Reichenhall (A8 motorway) - B21 (D) to B 178 (A) via Lofer in the direction of Waidring, St.Ulrich a. P., St. Jakob and Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen.

In Hochfilzen drive past the church, after approx. 200m turn left towards St.Ulrich a.P., after passing the railway underpass turn left again - drive along the Warmingerstrasse for approx. 1 km (drive past settlements and farmhouses) - after you pass a small bridge in Mitterwarming after approx. 200 m (the third house to the right) you will have reached the Foidlhof farmhouse.
