A little closer to heaven
The location of the Wallnerhof can certainly be described as spectacular: starting from the village of Obergottesfeld, the route goes steeply uphill over an asphalt/gravel road to 1,215 meters above sea level. Here, in absolute seclusion, lies the Wallner organic farm, surrounded by mountain meadows and forests. Today, everything here is comfortable. On the organic mountain farm, you will encounter alpacas as well as mother sheep with their lambs. The rabbit gang and Speedy the guinea pig live in a feel-good enclosure and compete with Blacky the cat for the guests' attention. The chickens and runner ducks spend the whole day outdoors... Some of the sheep and the donkeys spend their holiday on the higher, private alpine pasture, where you are very welcome to visit them.
The holiday apartment is located in the farmhouse, is very spacious (140 m²), accommodates up to 4 people (one double bedroom, two single bedrooms), and is fully equipped. For our little guests, there is child-friendly equipment with a cot, high chair, etc., and plenty of toys... From the two balconies, you have an unrestricted panoramic view: from the Goldeck to Obergottelfeld and from the Drautal to the Lurnfeld. Free Wi-Fi and a TV provide entertainment.
Soooo many lovely spots – where should you start relaxing first????
We would particularly like to recommend our Kraftplatzerl (place of power). A Kneipp pool, sun loungers located in the shade of birch trees, a brick barbecue, and a children's playground await your exclusive visit.
Similarly, the gazebo next to Grandma's large cottage garden invites you to linger in the evening. It may well happen that one or two evenings here last a bit longer: old and new stories about the farm and life on the mountain farm have already enchanted many a holiday guest.
And should there ever be a longer spell of rainy weather, you are welcome to use the communal room by the Kraftplatzerl. Enjoy your coffee in the communal room or in the nature park. A fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, fridge, and stove is also at your disposal there.

Hello dear children and little animal lovers!
Animal fun, lots of cuddles and plenty of memories.. Our petting zoo with friendly animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, a cat and chickens as well as runner ducks, are already looking forward to being pampered by you.... Alpacas and lots of mother sheep with their little lambs graze all around the farm - you could watch them play for hours.
The donkeys and some of the sheep spend the summer on the higher alpine pasture. You can visit them there at any time. Please observe the rules of conduct when dealing with grazing livestock. You can find more details at: https://www.sichere-almen.at/
We are already looking forward to your help, because there is a lot to do.. Petting, feeding and marveling - the animals of the Wallnerhof are waiting for you ....

The holiday apartment is 140 m². 3 bedrooms, a very spacious, fully equipped kitchen-living area, 2 balconies, bathroom and WC, washing machine. Wardrobe and anteroom with living area. High chair, cot and toys are available for our little guests.

Coming from the Lendorf highway exit towards Lienz, continue through the Festungsberg tunnel (Sachsenburg) to the Restaurant Auszeit in Obergottesfeld. Drive directly past the Restaurant Auszeit, through the village to the end of the town, then turn left uphill (there is a waste collection point on the right). Follow the Lanzewitzen-Wallneralm-Urlaub am Bauernhof signs! After about 5km of uphill driving, you will have reached your destination! Look out for the signpost with the Carinthian flag - you are in the right place! We wish you a pleasant journey.
