Experiences

Exceptional living

Exceptional Living on a Mountain Farm

At 1,260 m above sea level, on the over 500-year-old foundations of our generational farm, you will experience history first-hand.
Enjoy your getaway at the Ronerhof: sleep in a room with four windows, offering a view of the Mölltal mountain peaks and the surrounding village. Sit outdoors on the wooden balcony with a mountain herb tea and let your mind wander under the starry sky – a holiday full of peace and natural wonders in the Hohe Tauern National Park - in the Grossglockner region.

About Us

Pack your hiking boots!

On the little wooden bench on the small balcony, you can enjoy the warming morning sun. You look down from 1,250m onto the village of Mörtschach. High above the valley lies our mountain farm.

The Suntinger holiday apartment has been lovingly established inside the old farmhouse. A hand-painted saying on the beams of the house from 1935 shows that the farmers once lived here in contentment. Today, the apartment offers every comfort: a modern kitchen and sanitary facilities, as well as three comfortable and spacious bedrooms. A family of six will find plenty of space across 120 m².

We don't have much, but perhaps EXACTLY what you need.

We farm the steep meadows around the mountain farm ourselves. Our guests are very welcome to join us in the field work and help bring the fragrant hay into the barn. This is where we store the winter feed for our dairy cows.

A farm dog and cats are also looking forward to making your acquaintance.

In the Möll Valley, you are right in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park Region. This is where the highest mountains in Austria are located, including the Großglockner. Extensive hiking routes lead past deep blue mountain lakes and rushing rivers. On a leisurely drive along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, the tame marmots promise a very special experience! Here, you can get up close and personal with wildlife!

We: Daniela (farmer), Hannes (farmer), Genovefa and Gottfried (grandma and grandpa) and our 3 children look forward to meeting you and showing you magical places.
